Have you ever wondered how to achieve peak mental performance? Are you bombarded every day with things that get in the way of your goals? It can be tough to keep your eye on the prize. You will be happy to know you are not alone!
Let’s take this show on the road! It’s exciting to see a plan come to life.
Have you thought about the impact of why? Why? Everyone asks that question at some point in their life.
Find out how to live a daring life! I keep asking how do you become a Titan? No, I don’t want to be a god or God. I just want to make things happen. I’m studying female Titans in the modern day. It’s an informal passionate investigation for my personal curiosity.
Oh my word! I am so inspired right now I had to write this blog post. I’ve been marketing and advertising since I was 19. The tools I’ve used have certainly changed over the years. Let’s just say the color of my hair changes about every 10 weeks, now. I’ve been marketing or advertising for a while in varying degrees for all kinds of businesses. For the last 17 years I’ve been promoting my company, The Concierge Office Suites. Let’s just say, I have some experience.
I have never been one to want just a little happiness. I’ve wanted a whole lot of happiness! I want happiness to be contagious to people around me. I actually focus on happiness.
How to get unstuck…
Have you been stuck before? I mean mentally stuck, unable to move forward with an idea.
Maybe you’re not totally stuck. You may just be stalled in a portion of your life.
Vivacious
Welcome to the year of being me. This year I decided to choose a word that describes how I want to feel. The word I chose is vivacious. There are lots of other words to describe what vivacious means like: lively, spirited, bubbly, ebullient, buoyant, sparkling, lighthearted, jaunty, merry, happy, jolly, full of fun, cheery, cheerful, perky, sunny, breezy, enthusiastic, irrepressible, vibrant, vital, zestful, energetic, effervescent, dynamic.
Keep it Simple
Choosing a word to live by keeps life simple. Life is about the living. It’s about how you want to feel everyday, when you’ve finished the day and lay your head in the bed you can say it was a good day for you.
Boo, Hiss To Do Lists
I’m just not motivated by the drudgery of goal setting as everyone has traditionally experienced it. Goals in business have become an educated guessing game for me. They personally left me disheartened. Goals lead to to-do lists. I’m just not excited by “to do” lists. “To do” lists just mean I have something to keep me aimed at an initiative, not inspired. I’ve been defeated so many times by not meeting a goal at a particular date. After a while, the goal or to do-list item “just stays” on my list. The task almost feels irrelevant after a prolonged period of time. It’s not that I’m lazy, the task isn’t relevant, or I don’t have initiative to get things done. People who know me will testify to my driven nature. It’s easy for productive, driven people to create lots to do for themselves and their coworkers.
Life is About Living
To pick vivacious as my word to live by means I now have a go-get-it-done initiative! My to-do’s are about how I want to feel. Who wants to be motivated about what they are doing? Everyone! If the task is tedious, twist up your head game of how to do it. Make the task about how you want to feel when it’s completed. Life is about the living it! If at the end of the day you have experience a full heart of joy. You have accomplished something.
You Can do it Too
Your initiative word could be quite different than mine depending on how you want to feel. The word to live by is about you. It’s about what makes you happy. What brings you joy? What brings out your passion? Take some time and explore the things you do that changed your life for the better. Why did those things make such a positive difference? Is there a single word that describes you at your happiest state? Is there a single word that you want to feel like every day? My word and life are now about being vivacious. What’s your word?
The Questioning Quest
2014 was my year of questioning. I decided I was tired of not leading a passionate, joy filled life. I was tired of “living for everyone else.” I thought a lot about what I was doing every day and realized life is too short to continue to live like this!
